At a time when Poker Stars is more likely to dissolve sponsorship contracts rather than enter, there is a new entry in Team Poker Stars Pro. The Russian-German poker player Igor Kurganov is now part of the world’s best high-stakes players. He has officially Russian citizenship and currently lives with his girlfriend Liv Boeree in London. Liv is also in Team Poker Stars Pro. Together with Boeree and other poker players, he founded Raising for Effective Giving (REG) at the beginning of July 2014.

Kurganov is enthusiastic about his new commitment: “I am more active than ever in poker, and I am looking forward to working with Poker stars on future plans, and they have certainly been the driving force behind the poker industry and will continue to do so in the future. I believe that Poker Stars can provide the best experience for the players. In addition, Poker Stars supports our plans with REG which makes me very happy.
Even Eric Hollreiser VP of Corporate Communications at Poker Stars, would be with all the talk of artificial intelligence and poker, we are pleased to have such a clever member of our team, the math skills of Igor and his passion the Company. To give something back, represent very good characters. As indicated above, Poker Stars are currently firing players.
