A Humpday Question Or Two

Question One: Don't you wish people would stop calling it "humpday"?

On to the real question.

Chad had a post not too long ago asking for input as to where he should move. This is a variation, which I ask out of curiousity:

If you yourself were going to make a serious mid-life change, where would you move to and what would you do? Assume for the purposes of this question that you're not independently wealthy (if you are, congratulations!).

I'll be curious to see what anyone has to say, and will post my own thoughts a bit later (i.e. after the usual workday).

Funny you should bring this up. I currently live in the Twin Cities in Minnesota, and yesterday just got approved for a loan to buy a house in Portage, WI (population 9500).

I currently make an assload of money in sales, but would be happy to drive a UPS truck or work in an 8am-5pm customer service position to get away from the hectic life and crime of the city, not to mention, the "the survival of the (small)company depends on everything you do!!!" days I have everyday.

People need to stop calling it "hump day" and start calling it "New Poker Comic Day." That'd be cool.

I would sell everything and move to Vegas. But not to play poker, to work for a certain poker afilliate who keeps offering me a job. If he only knew I had no skills in web design, marketing, or anything else he needs.
